Workforce Recruiter Hiring for Outside Sales Representative / Account Executive Full Time

Client is seeking a dedicated and aggressive Outside Sales Representative in the Clackamas, OR area that will have an immediate impact on growth. Sales representatives are assigned to an exclusive territory and will partner with a wide range of clients in food and beverage industry.

Job Summary:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will develop new business opportunities within the food & beverage industry using your professional sales background. We will assist in your efforts, training you to use an organizational prospecting system. We will also provide you with a database of prospects to get you started. You will call upon business owners and decision makers to promote solutions such as linens, chef apparel, apron, mats, and other promotional product needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet and exceed sales objectives/quotas
• Identify prospective customers/generate leads via cold-calling, trade shows and networking
• Work new business leads provided by the company
• Maintain an active sales funnel (prospecting, cold calls, appointments)
• Prospect in both conventional and creative means—ranging from cold-calling to social networking—in order to build partnerships with potential customers.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in outside sales (cold calling, outbound and in person)
• High School diploma (GED)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Goldmine or Salesforce.com preferred
• Self-starter; go-getter mentality
• People-person; able to develop relationships quickly
• Service industry experience helpful, but not necessary
• General computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office: including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Possessing a valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance, and a dependable vehicle
• Familiar with, and resides in, Clackamas market
