Workforce Logiq Hiring for HR Coordinator Job at New York, NY Full Time

Overview:
Workforce Logiq by PRO Unlimited is currently looking for a Human Resources Coordinatorfor a premier broadcasting television and radio network inNew York City, NY. This is a 6-month contract but could be extended or converted to a permanent role. ONLY candidates who reside in the local area will be considered. This position will be remote and then transition to a hybrid position and will require that candidates be fully vaccinated to quality for this role. In this role you will be a key member of the dynamic HR Business Practices/Operations team in delivering first class partnership with the HR organization and providing support that touches business groups companywide. The hours are 9AM-530PM and the pay rate is $31/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on execution & tracking of all open positions/headcount while supporting hiring managers through the recruitment process.
- Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate a smooth employee onboarding experience; help welcome new hires to the organization and be their “go-to” for initial employee questions/information.
- Support the full lifecycle of full-time & temporary staff, including onboarding, tracking, extensions, and offboarding by partnering with managers, external vendors, and Human Resources.
- Partner with the People Strategy & Analytics team on reporting and generating meaningful metrics that tell a story with data for our complex organization.
- Support various HR projects that may include engagement review, diversity review, talent review, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Update and maintain employee trackers and organizational charts that capture the current status of the population.
- Special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
1-2 years experience as an HR coordinator or in a related role required- Candidates that have experience with HR Talent & Acquisition Experience are a plus
- Expert in Google suite, Excel/PowerPoint experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Detail-oriented
