Workforce Logiq Hiring for Finance Director Job at New York, NY Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the implementation for the new company-wide ERP system, working with various workstreams in the Finance and Technology organizations
• Facilitate cross-divisional coordination across TV, Film and Direct to Consumer domestic and international business segments
• Work closely with the Finance Advisory Council, which includes Finance leaders from across the organization, to solicit feedback, prepare and/or review documentation, provide input and approve deliverables
• Manage multiple vendors to provide guidance and expertise about Paramount’s processes, systems and personnel
• Lead cross-functional efforts with stakeholders such as Controllership, IT, Tax, Security and Controls to ensure alignment on system needs and business process designs
• Push for standardized processes and policies across the org and challenge viewpoints that differ from standardization
• Create, review and approve all requirements and business process designs and ensure new system enhancements will address the needs and concerns for every FPA team throughout Paramount Global
• Analyze and recommend solutions for key decisions and help drive consensus across multiple stakeholders
• Track and communicate risks to the Project Management Office, which may include timing risks or system customizations needed
• Design the new system and processes to be adaptable as future priorities may change
• Set guiding principles for master data governance throughout the organization
• Manage and influence teams to deliver project plan and escalate risks and issues as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, business, project management or a related field
• MBA preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance/accounting and/or investment banking and management consulting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Projects and Visio
• Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts, accounting principles and financial planning processes
• Excellent communicator and able to take complex processes and concepts and communicate in a clear, articulate and insightful manner
• Deep institutional knowledge and experience working in a broad range of finance functions in the Media industry, including FP&A, Transformation and Change Management
