Covalent Lithium is a new greenfield lithium project that is currently under construction to develop the Mt Holland lithium project and produce battery-quality lithium hydroxide in Western Australia. Our project is backed by the expertise and funding of our joint venture partners – SQM and Wesfarmers.

The Mt Holland project consists of a mine and concentrator located south of Southern Cross and a refinery at Kwinana that will produce 50,000 tonnes of lithium hydroxide once construction and commissioning is complete. Our lithium hydroxide will be exported to international manufacturers to produce over 1 million electric vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to join a battery metals project that is driving the new energy sector in WA.

The Role

The Recruitment Administrator will support the Recruitment and HR team in sourcing and screening applicants, arranging interviews, booking medicals, proactive candidate management and drafting internal supporting documents.

This is a full-time position, initially commencing in Perth, then transitioning to Kwinana in mid-2023.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all recruitment activities and changes against the Recruitment Schedule.
• Assist with the setup and compiling of candidate talent pools.
• Coordinate the approvals for internal forms, job descriptions, job advertisements, job-specific interview guides, letters and employment

agreements.

• Conduct and coordinate pre-employment assessment requirements, including verification of work rights, personal credentials,

Qualifications, Reference Checks, Pre-employment Medicals And Psychometric Testing.

• Ensure timely candidate management as each role progresses through the recruitment process and provide prompt feedback to

unsuccessful candidates.

• Monitor the Covalent Careers inbox, LinkedIn in-mails and respond to or action any incoming email traffic.
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements in all recruitment and selection activities.
• Raise relevant Purchase Order(s) for the Human Resources team.
• Provide ad hoc general administration and payroll support when required.
• Assist with end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including reviewing position descriptions, drafting job advertisements,

Role Requirements

• Tertiary qualification(s) in Human Resources (desirable)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Exposure in Payroll & HR Systems such as SAP Success Factor and ADP
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Package
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures

A competitive remuneration package commensurate with the role in a range of $70,000 to 80,000 (excluding superannuation), candidate experience, skills and qualifications will be offered.
