The NSW SES serves the NSW community as the lead agency for floods, storms, and tsunamis as specified by the State Emergency Service Act 1989. Our volunteers are highly skilled, experienced, and well- trained in the wide variety of roles they perform.

Your new role

Join The NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) as a Program Support Officer, where you will research and analyse projects. Your s will serve as the cornerstone of our decision-making processes, while your adept writing skills will propel our initiatives forward. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and delivering consistent, professional advice will be key facets of your responsibilities within our fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.

As the Program Support Officer, you will be working diligently behind the scenes, ensuring our projects navigate toward success. You’ll expertly manage multiple tasks with finesse, all while upholding unwavering accuracy and attention to detail. Your skill for multitasking will be your greatest asset.

About You

  • Maximum TRP $97,217.91 (salary range $79,032.00 – $86,539.00). Total remuneration package includes salary plus employer’s 11% contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
