About The Role

Duties And Responsibilities

• Optimise equipment capability, usage, layout, and maintenance
• Develop lean initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the production process
• Implement risk management practices, including backups, risk assessments, and contingency plans
• Establish and manage the PTR process for ensuring production capability during product launches
• Drive meaningful product cost reduction and optimisation efforts
• Lead the Maintenance Team in integrating planned maintenance into the system
• Utilise ERP system for asset and contact management
• Advise the Management team on production equipment, issues, and opportunities
• Comply with policies, systems, and processes to maintain efficiency and quality
• Manage inputs and records according to quality accreditation requirements

Selection Criteria

• Graduate Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Familiar with Auto CAD software
• Demonstrates a genuine interest in manufacturing and automotive industries
• Knowledgeable about Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards such as ISO9001 and ISO14001
• Knowledge and understanding of CNC and ERP systems advantageous
• Possesses excellent communication skills and can effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
• Must be a resident of Australia
