About The Role

ing to the Engineering Manager, this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, industrial engineers, and designers, to ensure smooth integration of designs. The primary responsibility is to facilitate seamless coordination and contribute to the successful development of high-quality and innovative solutions.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of light and power products, ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the most effective engineering solutions and technologies, taking into account feasibility, cost, and other factors
• Validate designs through meticulous calculations, simulations, and testing to optimise performance
• Offer technical assistance and problem-solving expertise to both internal and external stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the field of light and power, and incorporate them appropriately into project designs
• Maintain strict compliance with company policies and procedures while upholding industry best practices

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Extensive familiarity with industry standards and regulations
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specialising in full lifecycle product design and development
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (ANSYS preferred)
• Skilled in structural analysis, fluid dynamics simulations, and thermal analysis
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Proven track record in fast-paced environments, meeting strict deadlines
• Australian residency required
