An exciting opportunity is available within a prominent South Australian brand based in Adelaide’s Northern Suburbs. Renowned for its commitment to quality in Australian FMCG manufacturing and logistics, this company offers a dynamic environment. As the Logistics Manager, you’ll collaborate with production, warehousing, sales, and finance teams to oversee purchasing and inventory management. Your responsibilities will include maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating supplier orders, and ensuring seamless logistics. This 8-month contract offers a balanced work-life schedule with a 4-day work week.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, update, and maintain inventory levels
• Manage online sales stock keeping units (SKUs)
• Forecast to maintain cost, stock, and inventory control levels
• Ensure accurate inventory and cost representation on and off-site
• Coordinate end-of-financial-year (EOFY) stocktake
• Supervise daily deliveries and shipments, approve invoicing charges
• Efficiently manage warehousing operations
• Monitor purchasing changes and spending against sales and budget
• Analyse supplier performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Lead and support a small team

Selection Criteria

• Experience in FMCG Manufacturing, particularly in the food and beverage sector, is valued
• Proven track record in purchasing and inventory control
• Familiarity with modern ERP systems
• Strong analytical abilities with a keen focus on accuracy and detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
• Confidence in using own initiative to solve problems
