This is a great opportunity to join our team working on the Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridges project located in Victoria Park. The Causeway Link Alliance, comprising Civmec Construction and Engineering Pty Ltd, Seymour Whyte Constructions Pty Ltd, WSP Australia Pty Ltd and Main Roads, has been appointed to design and construct this iconic project.

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from Marine Superintendents to join our experienced and talented delivery teams onsite playing a key role in the management and delivery of this iconic project.

The Role

• Be the Civmec representative to the client regarding technical queries and questions
• Lead onsite health and safety compliance in line with the HSE Plan
• Management of subcontractors and direct workforce
• Undertake constructability reviews and detailed methodology development
• Execute the construction project plans utilising your skills and expertise – take control and plan the future of the project
• Engage and to the project manager, clients and stakeholders, to provide up to date real time information on the progress of the project
• Drive work schedules, plans and teams to meet project requirements on time and within budget

About You

You will be a Marine Superintendent with experience in heavy lifting on bridge and marine construction projects to include:

• Marine piling
• Barge work including piling and cranage from barges
• Heavy lift experience – crawler and hydraulic
• Structural welding
• Precast installation
• Earthworks
• Reinforced concrete
• Asphalt
• Demonstrate well-honed project planning and scheduling skills
• Strong leadership qualities – know how to lead a team and a project
