Temporary full-time opportunity until 30 June 2026 Office location – Newcastle/Various Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $88,147 to $98,036 super Our Marine, Coast, Estuaries and Flood team is currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Officer to assist in undertaking project research, analysis, ing, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects. In this role, you will help support the implementation of the Government’s coastal management framework and the delivery of outcomes. About You To be successful in the role, you will: Have appropriate degree level tertiary qualifications in engineering, geomorphology, environmental science, marine science, natural resource management or related discipline. Hold a current Australian Driver’s licence, class C and willingness to travel. Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and ing on project plans, milestones and deliverables Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed project management methodology. Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
