About the role

This is an opportunity for an experienced talent acquisition specialist to join our team and make a genuine difference in a highly regarded customer-focused organisation.

Your primary talent acquisition portfolio will see you engaging with technology and professional services leaders across WorkCover to bring in new talent as well as promote from within. This portfolio includes:

• Adopting proactive talent acquisition strategies including talent pooling and initiatives aimed at attracting diverse talent
• Writing engaging and targeted job advertisements
• Sourcing talent through a variety of traditional and contemporary sourcing channels, including head hunting passive candidates
• Screening candidates through resume reviews, digital integration partnerships, video interviews, background and reference checks and psychometrics
• Preparing and negotiating offers of employment and championing WorkCover’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
• Improving employee lifecycle systems and processes

There will also be opportunities to collaborate with the wider People and Workplace Experience team in a variety of people related projects and initiatives.

About you

We are in a peak period of hiring with several projects and growth predicted for the next 12 months. Prior experience within a high-volume function or digital and technology space would be desirable. Your ability to consult and partner will see you be successful in this role.

Prior experience within a talent advisor role is essential. It would also be advantageous to have experience in using Page Up, LinkedIn recruiter and other key sourcing methodologies.
