We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team at our headquarters in Cook, MN. This position will assist with various levels of administrative duties and staff. Hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm or as designated.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
Coordinate administrative meetings including board meetings, provider meetings, compliance meetings and other meeting needs as directed by administration.
Primary liaison to the Board of Directors with duties including board meeting minutes, monthly packet mailings, coordination of Board functions at direction of administration
Assist in maintaining, updating and distributing internal and external forms, signage and marketing materials.
Complete insurance credentialing of new medical, dental and behavioral health providers by coordinating with outside credentialing firm, providers and human resources.
Renew credentialing for all providers as needed and ensure all providers are eligible for payment from the various health insurance companies.
Work with clinical and nurse managers to schedule locum physicians for hospital call coverage at the Bigfork Valley and Cook Hospitals.
Serve as the main contact for locum firms that provide physician coverage. Interview and select new physicians as needed.
Support administration with duties involved in day-to-day operations and scheduled events. These may include:
Assist with Federal and State applications as requested
Policy management and coordination
Coordination of meetings
Assist with data and display as requested
Staff contact with questions or concerns
Oversight of patient experience of care survey process
Administrative Assistant Qualifications
Dependable, organized, detail-oriented and professional
Self-starter and ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Computer Skills
Time Management skills
Associate’s degree preferred; education may be substituted for additional years of experience
1 or more years working in an office setting
Occasional travel for meetings between sites is required
