About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst – Strategy Finance to join the Woolworths Supermarkets Finance Team. The purpose of this Business Partnering role is to provide dedicated specialist support to a range of key areas in the business, be an integral part of the broader Woolworths ecosystem, and be the financial custodian on strategic business initiatives. It is an exciting role which gives you the unique opportunity to be a part of multiple projects that are topical to the business, all helping drive the future strategy. It gives great exposure to various senior stakeholders and focuses on value creation. It also provides a great platform to influence throughout the company. The role s directly to the Finance Manager – Strategy Finance (Supermarkets).

Key Responsibilities

• E2E Project Management of key strategic initiatives
• Partner with the business to provide commercial support and insights that underpin strategic decision making
• Develop robust financial models to support business cases and other investment decisions
• Prepare written proposals & packs for consideration by Business Owners and Senior Leaders
• End to end performance tracking, analysis and ing on key initiatives
• Work closely with and influence key stakeholders across the business, including the Supermarkets leadership team, Finance, Strategy and Operations to drive forward looking business outcomes

About You

Key Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• CA / CPA Qualification
• Experience in Finance Transformation with a proven track record in driving data integrity, process improvement, and operating model optimisation
• Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data
• Strong presentation and storyboarding skills
• Synthesise large amounts of data from a variety of sources
• Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple
• Strong experience using financial systems e.g. Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros), Powerpoint, SAP
