Woolworths Supermarkets Hiring for Senior Business Analyst – Finance Productivity at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

The Senior Business Analyst – Finance Productivity ensures that all Productivity ing & insights are inline with the future direction & strategy of the business while supporting state & national teams with a consistent source of truth & ing resource.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly & quarterly cost per hour governance & framework that is insight focused & derives key headwinds & tailwinds across relevant productivity metrics.
• Drive improvement in performance through forward insight ing & state business partnering.
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with all business teams who influence TEC forecasting & result drivers.
• Manage & lead improvement across the insight ing space to ensure all dashboards & s are relevant, accurate & drive the right outcomes to improve wage performance.
• Be responsible for analysis of business drivers, profitability and returns in key categories and areas of investment both state based & national.
• Deliver value-add, insight driven presentations as required.
• Drive innovation and benchmarking analysis across key TEC/Productivity metrics.
• Support Managers with monthly and quarterly ing requirements and the analysis of financial performance
• Proactively liaise with relevant teams on monthly and weekly forecast submissions as well providing insight behind future key risk/opportunity drivers.
• Pro-actively rationalise ing and ad hoc requests, through a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive meaningful work plans for direct s & provide development opportunities inline with teams development plans.
• Maintain a collaborative culture which drives a focus on transparency, honesty, accuracy & integrity.

About You

• A minimum of 5 years relevant commercial/operational experience, (retail experience preferred).
• CA / CPA Qualification preferred but not essential
• GCP & SQL experience preferred.
• Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data
• Strong presentation and storyboarding skills
• Ensure the approach and output is simple, structured, accurate and robust
• Synthesise large amounts of data from a variety of sources
• Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple
• Prioritise team efforts to support business requirements
• Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros), Powerpoint, SAP
