What You’ll Do

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pricing Analyst with a strong commercial acumen & business partnering skills – to join our Pricing & Customer Value team, a business partnering function within the Commercial division of Supermarkets.

The purpose of this role is to support the optimisation of pricing opportunities for the Woolworths Supermarkets Division with a strong focus on building continued price trust with our customers and maintaining Woolworths’ competitiveness in the market.

• Framing problems, gathering and analysing complex data, developing insights and recommendations to support the Pricing & Better Buying team’s mandate within the business
• Inject analytical rigour and innovative thinking into the issues the business faces, and proactively finding and landing opportunities to add value
• Scoping, developing and maintaining various solutions for the business, including models, s and dashboards
• Contributing to the knowledge environment within the Pricing & Customer Value team including training team members and business partners in new concepts and solutions

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Finance / Pricing Analyst or a numbers-savvy Category Analyst with additional skills in stakeholder engagement, and influencing outcomes.

• Build strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a pricing, finance or commercial role, ideally within an FMCG environment
• Ability to develop actionable insights and recommendations through complex analyses of large data sets
• Advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets and MS Powerpoint / Google Slides skills
• SQL experience is preferred
