About Greenstock
Greenstock is Woolworths’s end-to-end multi-channel red meat business, combining deep industry expertise with advanced analytics to deliver high quality and sustainable beef, lamb and pork to Woolworth’s existing and new sales channels in Retail, Food Services, Wholesale and International. Launched in 2021, Greenstock consolidates the Group’s existing livestock procurement, processing, trading and supply/demand teams. With Woolworths’s shift into a new era as an ecosystem retailer, the multibillion dollar Greenstock has high single to low double-digit per cent revenue growth ambitions over the next three years.
Purpose of the role
The Business Analyst operates within the “Buy” phase of Greenstock’s business cycle. The purpose of the role is to partner closely with the Strategic Livestock Sourcing Team to deliver financial analyses and ing that enhance the team’s decision making capabilities, and help them execute against their economic, sustainability and animal welfare goals. This role will also support Greenstock’s standard primal costing, and will assist in shaping this costing methodology going forward.
