About The Role

The purpose of this Business Partnering role is to provide commercial support, analysis and insight into meat manufacturing and end-to-end logistics at Woolworths in partnership with the Greenstock team and Hilton Foods Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure financial integrity between Woolworths, Hilton Foods Australia’s manufacturing operations (including 3 Australian manufacturing plants) and freight provider Primary Connect.
• Variance analysis against budget and forecasted figures on a weekly and monthly basis; providing timely and accurate commentary and accruals as required.
• Support weekly and monthly ing; including preparation and graphic visualisation of Financial and Non-Financial Key Performance Indicators.
• Critical and proactive analysis of Greenstock’s manufacturing operations with Hilton Foods, including fixed and variable costs, cost drivers, production volumes and trend analysis.
• Provide insights to logistics costs incurred in transporting meat across Woolworths Supply Chain and how costs vary according to legs, frequency and other factors.
• Business Partner to support commercial decision making by providing operational insights through the financial results.
• Play a key role in the Budget (Annual Operating Plan) and Forecasting cycles, capturing risks, opportunities and demonstrating an understanding on Standard Costing.
• Liaise internally with different Woolworths business units as required.
• Demonstrate E2E understanding of Woolworths Protein supply chain by participating in analysis of business proposals, contributing manufacturing and logistics impacts.

Key Criteria

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• CA / CPA Qualification preferred or working towards
• SAP experience preferred but not essential
• Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data. GCP familiarity is an advantage.
• Strong work ethic and have the ability to work under pressure
• Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience, able to make the complex simple
• Prioritise team efforts to support business requirements
• Strong excel modelling skills
