About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join us to work closely with the product owner, product manager, developers and testers as well as internal and external partners to develop user stories and define technical requirements that will bring features and new capabilities to life that meet regulatory, compliance and risk obligations. You will be an expert in capturing highly technical requirements at a level suitable for the intended audience.

You will need to have experience in the payments space as this role will be dealing heavily with all aspects of the payments process. Our payments products and services include onboarding merchants, payment processing for cards, alternate payment methods, gift cards and the back office processes of reconciliation, settlement, billing, and ing to merchants.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and documentation of as-is and to-be states for business and technical processes, working in an iterative, agile context
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with key stakeholders and functional teams and analyse and scope the requirements
• Define feature specifications and document solutions
• Work with designers and developers and participate in technical design activities
• Assist in the development, testing and deployment of new processes and capabilities
• Suggest and implement leading practices and process improvements
• Enhance business and technical systems by providing accurate information about business needs and priorities
• Work with key stakeholders to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing solution
• Define and influence the scope and solution to optimise the speed of delivery and value creation for the program

About You

• Payments/FinTech experience
• Experience in a multi-brand and/or large complex organisation
• Experience with card present payments & terminals is highly desirable
• Experience working on multiple business projects/initiatives end to end
• Highly collaborative team player who thrives in a team environment with an openwork style
• Solid experience in working within squads and tribes in an agile environment where requirements are constantly evolving and changing
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and organisational ability
• Highly driven and self-sufficient with the ability to get things done on time and to the required standards
• The ability to learn fast to understand our products and customers
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Understanding of payments processes and systems
