Woolworths Group Hiring for Senior Manager – Data Operations at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Manager, Data Operations, responsible for defining the operations strategy and leading end-to-end operations support capability for the Woolworths Information Management ecosystem.

About The Role

In this role, you will define and drive the operations strategy and plans, and deliver operational excellence through the effective management of your team, vendors, and suppliers.

You will lead your team to deliver critical services 24 x 7, 365 days per year, located both onshore and offshore, and manage key relationships to ensure all issues are managed appropriately, including communications and escalation management for issues raised by Business and other stakeholders

Other Responsibilities Include

• Service management to ensure quality in Service delivery across incidents, requests, problems, and changes
• Provide regular ing showing performance against operational metrics and service levels
• Vendor management of applicable suppliers to ensure service delivery according to agreed service levels
• Service transition management to ensure operational readiness before projects transition into operations
• Change management review, approval, and implementation

About You

You will have a growth mindset and understand the important nature of the relationships within the business. A natural influencer, with a commercial outlook, you will be proactive with your stakeholders both internally and externally.

As an experienced digital leader, you synthesise technical solutions, business problems and communicate both clearly to expert and executive audiences.

You will have an understanding of Service Management processes and demonstrated ability deploying them in an enterprise setting and demonstrated experience establishing and running data platform operations teams (or similar) in an enterprise setting.

Other Attributes And Career Experience Include

• Strong IT Operational experience within a leadership or support background involving troubleshooting
• Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering critical services 24 x 7, 365 days per year
• Understanding of Google Cloud Platform (or other public cloud platforms)
• Collaborative problem solver, with commitment to delivering business/customer outcomes.
• Experience in vendor, contract and partner team management in an enterprise setting.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience defining operations management strategy and approach
• Incident or problem management involvement is desirable
• Experience in Retail will be highly regarded
