In 2019, Woolworths Group established Australian Grocery Wholesalers (AGW) to act as a domestic wholesale business supporting primarily our partnerships with Wholesale key accounts, such as Ampol and Foodbank. As the business evolved, the scope was expanded to include Remote First Nations communities, Government and charity partners The business is now focused on further growth opportunities across differing market segments as we bring the best of Woolworths to more Australian communities, everyday.

About the Role;
The project manager’s role is assigned to complete the validation phase of a proposed solution to supply remote communities in NT in partnership with a 3PL as part of the Woolworths RAP commitment under the health pillar. The project managers role will lead the agile delivery team responsible to validate, establish foundational capability and accurately scope, estimate costs and roadmap the proposal.

Key Responsibilities.

• Working closely with key functional areas within Woolworths to develop and deliver the program of work
• Using initiative and creativity to validate this investment for Woolworths.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure best outcomes are achieved for Woolworths and our B2B customers
• Build strong supporting networks within Woolworths ensure delivery of the best outcome
• Represent the customer, be customer centric and make decisions with the customers interests at heart
• Develop and drive innovation through the development of new ways of working.
• Utilise customer insight data and financial results to tailor ranges to meet the customer profile
• Demonstrate and role model Woolworths leadership behaviours
• Demonstrate change leadership

What knowledge and experience do I need to be successful?
Knowledge

• Deep and demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies tools and processes across the project lifecycle, in particular the Project Management Body of Knowledge (or equivalent)
• Project Planning skills and experience
• Strong facilitation, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder management with key business people including project sponsor
• Self-sufficient and able to deliver with minimal oversight
• Ability to manage shaping multiple projects at different stages of the life cycle
• High competence in Google suite, Excel, SAP
• Ability to facilitate workshops / meetings
• Strong influence and negotiations skills
• Flexibility with hours
• Must be able to work within a team environment
• Portray a positive attitude
• Ability to prioritise

Experience

• Candidate has had exposure / worked previously in Woolworths ecosystem
• Worked and delivered projects in Wholesale or FMCG space
• Worked in on complex projects
• Worked with / managed supplier or partner relationships
