About The Role

The purpose of this role is to help drive the customer first culture by collecting customer insights through strategic & tactical market research and communicating insights to the business in a compelling way to drive action.

One of the key ways that you will contribute to this is by conducting hands-on end to end research with our Gather (Woolworths Group) research panel for internal stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Working with a Research Manager, manage & own in-house quantitative research projects end-to-end including:
• Liaising with stakeholders to understand & clarify the brief; asking curious questions to go beyond basics
• Reverse brief, manage stakeholder needs & expectations & project manage the research
• Designing surveys
• Scripting surveys on Qualtrics
• Managing the research in feld incl sample selection & quota management
• Data preparation, checking & analysis of the data
• Charting & writing
• Presenting key insights as required
• Manage monthly ing deliverables including identifying key trends & communicating insights in a compelling way
• Identify & undertake analysis on key topic areas, anticipating & responding to business needs as well as connecting the dots with other data sources
• Working with external research agencies
• Additional tasks as required to contribute to the team, including planning & managing of work, raising PO’s, updating the research library

Who We Are Looking For

The role will support the team to deliver high quality customer insights. Your curiosity for deep customer understanding, coupled with your analytical capability will see you effectively identifying & communicating meaningful insights from data.

This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with experienced research professionals and partner with both internal & external stakeholders to deepen your research, analytical and communication capabilities.

Requirements

• 3 years + previous customer insights or market research experience, agency and/or in-house corporate research function
• Previous hands on experience of customer quantitative research is essential; qualitative experience is advantageous but not necessary
• Highly experienced scripting & analysing data in Qualtrics
• Previous experience using Q and /or SPSS, Displayr software, including setting up data, creating tables & conducting analysis advantageous
• Any experience or knowledge of working with SQL would be highly beneficial
• Excel and Powerpoint, G-Suite, Tableau & Jira are also advantageous
• Experienced in analysis, synthesis of multiple data point & turning insights into engaging storytelling
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written); experience in creating materials (eg slides) to convey key insights in a compelling way
• Strong attention to detail and good business acumen
