The Copywriting & Content Executive is responsible for producing innovative styles of copy and editorial content for marketing, sales, customer, product and internal communications. As a brand ambassador in all things words, you will look to bring to life the Woolworths at Work brand consistently across every internal and external touchpoint.
On any given day you may be writing a new ebook for the learn vertical, a blog post about a new product feature, reviewing social media copy, an internal event digital invite, copy for new product experiences, generating punchy subject lines for an email campaign, going through terms and conditions, pulling together some FAQ’s, writing sales proposals or working on internal communications and programs.
A natural communicator with advanced written and oral presentation skills, you are known for producing high-quality copy with meticulous attention to detail. You are confident in sharing ideas, highlighting opportunities and taking ownership of projects. You will be curious about customers and understand their needs and behaviour, and will put them at the centre of decisions. You are a strategic writer capable of creating persuasive, compelling copy that inspires customer action, and you are up to speed with the latest technologies that help you optimise and create new assets. A good working knowledge of SEO is also highly desirable for this role, as you may be required to work with our external SEO agency to implement recommended SEO tactics.
This is a really exciting and new role that will be supported by a team of experienced marketers and communications professionals. This role provides a career path into more senior B2B roles at WooliesX so is suitable for someone interested in building a B2B career. This role would suit someone who is interested in working in a fast-paced digital company and has experience in a corporate environment.
