Woodson Branch Nature School Hiring for Elementary Education Teacher at Marshall, NC Full Time

The one and only school of its kind, Woodson Branch Nature School: a nonprofit Independent K-8th grade school, located on a working farm on 30 acres in rural Madison County, (http://www.madisoncclc.org) is seeking an elementary education teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. Students are taught traditional academic subjects in the most effective way with relevant to life experiences in and out of doors on a regular school day schedule. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who wants to bring their creativity, expertise, and experience together in a supportive, collaborative environment. Qualifying candidates must have a K-6 elementary degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in an elementary classroom environment to apply. The chosen candidate has a natural affinity for the great outdoors, a dedication to experiential teaching modalities, a willingness to teach traditional subjects both inside and outside, a collaborative approach to education, and lives within 35 miles of the school. They will be asked to demonstrate in person their design abilities and group management skills in phase 2 of the interview process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
