About the role

The role of the Solutions Specialist is to undertake activities related to the technical implementation, development and technical support of the Group’s enterprise systems and digital platforms. This is a “hands on” role working on initiatives concurrently that optimise how users work. The role ensures that the systems are performing optimally, and changes are orchestrated and executed to achieve their objectives. The role ensures that end users are supported from an IT perspective.

The primary focus of this role is to support the systems and digital platforms that enable the Client Relationship and Bid Management functions across the enterprise. This includes CRM capability, Power BI ing, SharePoint and digital applications leveraging the Power Platform. Other capability such as ERP (Finance, Project Operations) is considered secondary focus as we have a Solution Specialist in our team whose primary focus is to support such applications/business functions.

Woods Bagot utilise Dynamics 365 CRM for marketing, business planning, contact and opportunity management and BST for finance functions and Concur for expense management. We will be looking to evaluate ERP solutions in the future, with a focus on Project and Finance Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partners with the business to understand user requirements, identify robust IT application solutions, and rapidly prototype solutions as a proof-of-concept for non-technical audiences
• Undertake the end-to-end development of business application solutions including apps, forms, workflows, SharePoint deployments, and system integrations
• Develop and maintain solution design and technical systems documentation
• Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation and delivery of SharePoint, MS Teams, Power Platform, and Power BI based initiatives
• Conduct research and provide technical advice and direction in relation to operational and business systems, platforms, and development services
• Provide professional/technical advice to assist in the development of tools to facilitate Application Lifecycle Management and DevOps processes
• Provide technical support to end users – core systems include MS Dynamics CRM, HRIS and ERP and digital applications that have been developed inhouse, to support automation and streamlining of business functions
• Support, maintain and enhance existing Dynamics 365 customisations
• Maintain the CRM and Finance systems’ data integrity
• Coordinate testing, training, and system upgrades
• Continued improvement of process and functionality of the systems to support business needs
• Delivery and continued enhancement of management ing

• System Analysis, issue resolution and system enhancements
• Testing and implementation of system corrections and enhancements
• Assess and understand processes and systems used and areas of inefficiencies
• Actively champion system and process improvements consistent across the Global Studio
• Liaise with Group IT on any systems upgrades that impact core business systems
• Analysis and development of business systems ing to support business needs
• Work with the business to ensure appropriate training materials are made available

Systems Support

• Provide technical support for core business platforms
• Support system end users to resolve any technical issues
• Monitor and escalate systems performance issues promptly
• Assist with escalated system and user support queries as required
• Log and track user queries, improvement requests and actions taken using the IT helpdesk system

Key skills and capabilities

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience on medium to large scale IT projects
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with non-technical users to understand user requirements, and develop solutions/enhancements in enterprise or consultancy environments
• Substantial experience in SharePoint configuration and administration with significant SharePoint Online experience
• Experience in CRM systems configuration and administration.
• Recent professional experience delivering solutions using Power Platform
• Proficient in software development
• Strong experience in relational database design and query languages
• Demonstrated experience working with SDLC processes
• Demonstrated high level of customer service delivery
• Strong Business intelligence analytical and ing skills (Excel, Power BI and/or SSRS)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels
