Position Overview

We are looking for a Live-in, Full-time, On-site Resort Manager to run day-to-day operations all year. The chosen candidate will perform an array of duties to run successfully, the Woodland Park Arden.

The successful candidate will have experience running a small business, preferably in the hospitality industry, familiar with bookkeeping, and light maintenance. Must be prepared to live on-site in the manager’s residence be on-call to help the tenants.

Responsibilities

• Live on-site at a beautiful recreation resort.
• Managing day to operations such as managing cleaning staff, front desk, cash management, lawn maintenance and general groundskeeping
• Basic handy person skills are required including ability to use a drill, hammer, fix a leaking water tap and change an electrical plate will be an added advantage
• Compliance (drive by checks to make sure guests have paid and are complying with rules and regulations)
• Provide guests with customer service, area and activity recommendations, rules and regulations and assistance they should require
• Prepare an annual resort budget, produce timely, accurate and on-target financial reports, and complete basic bookkeeping such as rent collection, payroll, and invoicing.
• Checking email, creating & processing rental contracts and managing current year-round contracts
• Some after-hour, night, and weekends to meet deadlines and workload.
• Flexibility in order to cope with the varied demands of the work and the constant need for innovation
• Entrepreneurial spirit and an owner mentality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to $60,000.00 per year
