This role is responsible for developing and executing the talent, development, and performance development strategies within the Wood Consulting Business unit, ensuring that individuals with potential for future roles are identified and prepared for the future needs of the business.
A member of the Consulting People & Organisation (P&O) team, working closely with the P&O President/Vice President and business/functional leaders to ensure the provision of specialist knowledge.
This role provides and expertise and ensures the delivery of the P&O strategy in all aspects of succession management, leadership development, employee development and performance development.
A high level of engagement is required to influence and support the Consulting leadership team.

Skills / Qualifications:
LEADERSHIP
Responsible for leading on Consulting L&D and the programs and services that support our global people development strategy and objectives
Sets action plans for people development congruent with the broader Wood organization, that encompass succession management, leadership development, performance management, coaching, mentoring, career management, and change management
Consults with and ensures effective engagement of business stakeholders on people development initiatives
Key member of and contributor to the Consulting P&O Leadership Team
Contributes to the creation of talent and development strategies, policies, processes, systems and tools as a member of the Global Talent
ADVISORY
Provides expert advice and guidance to the P&O President, Consulting leadership team, and the P&O community in all areas related to people development
Delivers services as appropriate through partnerships with the P&O VP and P&O Business Partners
SUCCESSION MANAGEMENT
Facilitates identification, review, and confirmation processes for successors and high potentials
Leads implementation of any related global tools or processes
Leads process of identification and development of future bench strength
LEADERSHIP ASSESSMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
Analyzes leadership development needs at Consulting BU and business grouping levels and designs interventions
Facilitates the use of established global assessment instrument
FACILITATION
Manages business unit delivery of, and also facilitates Consulting specific development programs and team effectiveness sessions
PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT
Supports implementation of global Performance Development philosophy, encouraging conversations to support performance in current roles and development for career progression
EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT
In conjunction with Consulting and Global Wood needs, guides the development of employee development initiatives
Lead on delivery of a new Shadow Leadership Team for Wood Consulting
COACHING AND MENTORING
Provides global toolkits, consulting advice, and project management of related programs
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in related discipline such as organizational
Facilitation and presentation skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Significant successful experience developing relationships with and coaching leaders
Significant successful experience administering and debriefing psychometric tools (e.g.360 feedback, personality)
Experience consulting with executive level stakeholders
