Wood Mackenzie products serve customers across the energy and natural resources sectors that depend on data, insight tools and business process automation solutions which are delivered through API’s and User Interfaces. The team are currently working on a next generation, data analysis & visualization platform utilized by our customer to drive billion-dollar decisions.
We are seeking a Learning and Talent Development Partner to join our Global Talent Development team, supporting our Product, Data & Technology (PDT) function in business agility and the delivery of our strategic objectives through agile organizational learning and career development.
The successful candidate will work closely with PDT leaders and HR Business Partner to find creative ways to identify, capture and develop the critical technical knowledge our People require at each stage of their career. This role will report to our Director Talent Development and collaborate with functional leaders to identify priority learning needs, and provide learning and resources to support onboarding, performance, and career development.
About the role
As part of the Global Talent Development Team, and working closely with the Division HR Business Partner, you will support the delivery of our strategic objectives through the development of a robust technical capability framework, provision of aligned opportunities for learning, and facilitating career development.
You will be the primary point of contact for our Product, Data & Tech teams across our global network to help them navigate and access career and development resources.
You will support our teams to develop the resources and skills to deliver a dynamic onboarding process that engages employees from the outset, supports inclusion, belonging, and retention, accelerates productivity and creates a fungible talent pool.
You will use effective data collection and evaluation techniques (such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups) to establish priority learning needs, and make recommendations on L&D strategy and investment. And you will collaborate with our internal centres of excellence to develop and deliver training and resources to support team, leader and personal effectiveness, career development, and Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging.
