Wood Financial Group, a leading financial services firm headquartered in Hendersonville, TN, seeks a dynamic and experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and execute the company’s marketing strategies and initiatives. As the CMO, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of Wood Financial Group by developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans, strengthening the brand, and ensuring effective communication with clients, prospects, and team members.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute marketing strategies: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Develop innovative marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and client acquisition.
2. Develop and execute lead generation strategies to drive qualified leads and support the sales team in achieving revenue targets, utilizing lead scoring, nurturing campaigns, and effective sales enablement materials.
3. Brand management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the Wood Financial Group brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials. Foster brand loyalty and establish the company as a trusted and respected financial services provider.
4. Marketing communications: Develop and implement effective marketing communication plans, including advertising, public relations, digital marketing, social media, and content marketing. Create compelling messaging and positioning to effectively reach target audiences and drive engagement.
5. Market research and analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, client needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and adapt campaigns accordingly.
6. Team leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Set clear goals and objectives, provide guidance and feedback, and ensure the team’s performance meets or exceeds expectations.
7. Marketing budget management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective utilization of marketing channels. Monitor and on marketing campaign performance and return on investment (ROI).
8. Collaboration and partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives. Identify and establish strategic partnerships with external organizations to expand reach and enhance the brand’s reputation.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing and financial services. Continuously evaluate and recommend innovative marketing strategies and tools to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
– Proven track record of at least 10 years in progressively responsible marketing roles, including experience in financial services or related industries.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
– Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
– Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and lead generation strategies.
– Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
– Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive marketing decisions.
– Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
– Knowledge of compliance regulations in the financial services industry is a plus.
