This entry-level position requires daily in-office attendance. We are looking for a warm, friendly, self-motivated, highly organized person who is a service-oriented team player with superior written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Duplicating documents, books, and other papers as needed Scanning and uploading documents to electronic format Hospitality services, including setting up and cleaning conference rooms, maintaining cleanliness of the café, placing breakfast and lunch orders, greeting clients and guests, and loading / unloading dishwashers Preparing new hire offices Placing equipment service calls on copiers Providing shipping and receiving services Making trips to the Post Office as needed and to the bank to make a daily deposit Maintaining inventory of all office consumable supplies Providing courier services (when the regular courier company is not available) Performing special projects as requested by the Office Services Manager or Office Coordinator REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma required, college degree preferredSome related customer service experience is preferredRequires a valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation with minimum levels of auto insurance coverage due to frequent travel / courier services to other offices and / or client / attorney residences or officesWorking knowledge of basic office equipmentBasic knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and imaging softwareAbility to work independently and flexibly to complete projectsAbility to determine correct method and materials for safely shipping itemsAbility to comprehend instructions concerning mail deliveryPossess troubleshooting and problem solving skillsPossess ability to read and comprehend written technical informationPossess excellent customer relations skills and excellent verbal communication skillsRequires frequent exposure to copier / fax machine noise, toner and changes in room temperature;
may be exposed to frequent paper cuts from handling of paper and opening of boxesRequires exposure to various weather conditions when walking is necessary between buildings and exposure to location equipment can present opportunities for injury or accidentsMakes daily telephone / in-person contact with customers, employees, managers, vendors and repair personsDealing with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times imposes high stress levelsSome physical effort is required which may involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing or similar activities as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 75 lbs.
