About the role:

You’ll be a key member of a dedicated resourcing team supporting the RBP/TAP and Res Man/TAM with the delivery of Wolseley UK Resourcing Strategy. This role will support the resourcing team in sourcing, selection and management of candidates both internally and externally, whilst ensuring compliance with our Recruitment & Selection policy. You will also have a focus on delivering a great customer experience for both Hiring Managers and candidates.

You will also be responsible for:

• Generation of direct candidates from a variety of sources including job boards, LinkedIn, and recruitment channels, reducing reliance on the use of recruitment agencies.
• Work closely with the RBPs/TAPs to engage fully in the resourcing needs of the business area to understand current and future resourcing needs, together with building talent pools for critical and niche roles.
• To provide a comprehensive end to end best practice recruitment service
• Administering vacancies and sending candidate communications
• Ensuring that the vacancy tracker is always up to date
• Maintenance of employment brand, both internally and externally.
• Candidate management to include interview arrangements and keep warm communication.
• Provide support for recruitment fairs, open days and other resourcing events.
• Develop an understanding of the business for your agreed areas of involvement.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience working within a similar role preferably within a recruitment agency or In-house environment.
• Knowledge of search tools to identify candidates
• Knowledge of the end to end recruitment process / policy including legal requirements and recruitment best practice
• Basic knowledge and understanding of recruitment systems and processes
• Effective communication skills / able to influence internal and external stakeholders
