About the Role

Wollondilly Shire Council is seeking applications for a passionate and experienced professional to join Council’s Financial Services Team, for a period of up to 12 months. Reporting to the Team Leader Accounting Services, this position is responsible for providing financial accounting services as required by Council and external organisations and ensuring the integrity of data within Council’s financial information system.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential experience and qualifications:

• Degree qualifications in Accounting and demonstrated experience in working in an accounting environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to use, Corporate Information Systems and complex spreadsheets and databases.
