The organization specializes in providing quality affordable housing throughout the Midwest and Central Atlantic regions. Woda Management & Real Estate, LLC (“WM&RE”), the property management organization, currently manages over 10,000 housing units in over 300 housing communities. The management company has a concentration specifically on communities funded via the LIHTC program, Rural Development, and HUD Section 8, and other affordable programs. WM&RE has implemented Yardi Voyager software throughout its portfolio.

The Position

Reports To:

The Onboarding Coordinator reports to the Employee Experience Manager.

• Craft and send emails with information about the company, including dress code, parking options, Motor Vehicle Authorization, and schedule for first day
• Collaborate with the IT department to ensure equipment is set up for new hires
• Prepare onboarding packets with new hire folder information and company merchandise
• Welcome new employees upon their arrival and give them an office tour
• Work with the Education Manager to ensure smooth onboarding in the field
• Facilitate the orientation welcome presentation and videos for Columbus Office new hires
• Inform employees on their first tasks (e.g. which programs to download and how to activate their accounts)
• Address new hires’ questions and connect them with the proper resources
• Manage company I9s and ensure compliance including printing out new hire I9 documents, moving terminated employee I9 documents, and organizing the storage of the physical I9s
• Process new hires through the Onboarding Gateway in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) including adding the new hire personal information, job specific information, and ensuring tax codes are set up correctly
• Manages the New Hire 60 Day survey by tracking and sending out template to ensure each new hire takes the survey after 60 days
• Manages the 90 Day Review process including reaching out to managers with due dates, walking employees and managers through the process of completing them, and answering questions

• Manages the new hire benefit enrollments every month and educating them on different plans, eligibility and processes ensuring that each enrollment is complete by the first of the month
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business, or related field
• Proven work experience in customer service-related fields
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
• Preferred experience with Ultimate Kronos Group software
• Strong public speaking skills
• Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• An ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Physical Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.

• Travel with notice required.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 20 pounds.
