Educational Tutor

We require applicants with a high standard of education, educated to degree level at the very least for the new academic year.

The right candidate will have:

• A calm and flexible approach to supporting students with their education.
• The ability to motivate our students who may have become disaffected to achieve qualifications and fulfil their potential.
• Good attention to detail and organisation is essential for completion of detailed paperwork, reports, and student folders.
• Able to work One to One or in very small groups.
• Deliver a full educational curriculum.

Monday- Friday 8am- 4pm

About the Organisation

We are a Small Independent School that offer Alternative Provision for pupils aged 9 up to 25 years of age, many of whom have Education and Health Care Plans and or Special Educational Needs.

Supporting students with their social skills and confidence as well as helping to achieve the necessary qualifications for progression. We also offer intensive support for students to help them achieve their full potential.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils and young people. We have a robust Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, and all staff will receive training relevant to their role at induction and throughout employment at the school. Referees will be asked to disclose any Child Protection allegations or issues of a similar nature for all successful job applicants. All staff will undertake Enhanced DBS Checks and others safeguarding checks that apply.
