Wisewire Hiring for Junior Project Manager – Healthcare Technology at New York, NY Full Time

Wisewire is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to drive the development of healthcare related programs. This position is responsible for the overall quality of health and medical programs. This includes program definition, setting budgets, overseeing the processes and protocols of editorial and project management teams, self-scaling to monitor and support project teams, and taking ownership of the program design and outcomes to ensure quality and success in the market that meets client objectives and company goals.

Role Description

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Take ownership of the direction of the product with stakeholders (client, company, team, end users) to ensure the overall success of the product in the market.
• Regularly self-scale in and out of teams and tasks to address challenges, identify solutions, and to support teams in executing on changes and resolutions.
• Utilize and adapt existing processes and methods, applying judiciously to projects as applicable, while also bringing new ideas for improvements and innovations in processes, methods, and team structure.
• With full P&L responsibility, monitor and advise the program creation team and the project management team to ensure quality and completeness of all assignments and adherence to the contract.
• Monitor and advise on staffing needs, and help to solicit, secure, and retain resources. Make ongoing resourcing decisions pertaining to quality, team collaboration, and communications, and adjust assignments as needed.
• Check-in with leaders of teams and selectively audit or review materials and peer input in appropriate scope (self-scale) to provide direction and support, and to facilitate communication between team members. The end goal is to ensure that the quality meets or exceeds requirements and competitiveness (quality, rigor, scope, student experience, etc.) with target market leaders. This may include:
• Review outlines and drafts at various stages of writing, editing, and review.
• Identify and use resources in a consultant capacity to evaluate potential concerns.
• Oversee QA/QC (quality and processes)
• Liaise between the production and project management teams regarding best practices and solutions for adapting content formats to the client’s platform functionality, identifying approaches that optimize user experience while adhering to budget and scope.
• Ensure a rich, relevant, and engaging student experience for a wide variety of student users from different backgrounds.
• Ensure guidelines, checklists, and templates are in place and being effectively used by the team to address issues at the appropriate stages, including identifying gaps where guidelines and checklists are needed or should be modified to fill current project needs, and creating or collaboratively creating guidelines and checklists when needed.
• Participate in and/or lead weekly planning/status and other meetings as needed.
• Regularly to company directors on project risks, challenges, and successes.
• Submit ad hoc s and status updates as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years working in educational health/medical program development with full P&L responsibility
• Experience overseeing product development through multiple stages, from inception through the delivery of a publication-ready and print-ready product
• Bachelor or graduate degree in healthcare sciences, nursing, or related area is preferred; additional education and/or experience related to program design and learner experience preferred

Preference is given to candidates with demonstrated leadership success, a portfolio of health/medical programs, familiarity with product design phases, and an overall growth mindset.
