This role is to lead and develop Talent function and strategy for Wirex Ltd. This role would be recruiting for our global Marketing and Operations teams including but not limited to –
Marketing
Compliance
Risk
Finance
Legal
HR
The role
- Full ownership of candidate to employee journey – identifying issues and making continual improvements (especially to remote onboarding experience)
- Ownership of Glassdoor Rating improvement
- Ownership of Background checks process (global) and Right to Work checks (global) / Immigration, visa issues etc.
- Leading on projects such as remote hiring / globally distributed teams – research and present findings to Head of People
- Regular benchmarking global salaries against market and updating bandings for all functions
- Benchmarking full range of benefits
- Stay abreast of global employment law changes and raise issues or potential risks to Head of People
- Employer Branding – ownership for all regions
- Produce monthly hiring report and ad-hoc management reports for Global Head of People
- Work closely with People Team to ensure a seamless approach and joined up strategy
- Continually discuss, review and agree recruitment strategy with Head of People
- Build consistent recruitment process across all offices
- Assist Senior Management with Headcount predictions and costs
- Own the strategy for Talent attraction and acquisition across all departments and international locations specifically designing this for hyper growth
- Lead, develop and grow a team
- Create and deliver training to new managers and hiring managers to assist them with the hiring/interview process
- End to end recruitment on the “hard to fill” and Senior roles both in the UK and Internationally
- Be heavily invested in candidate experience with a particular emphasis on remote onboarding process improvement
- Creating and amending templates, employment contracts, and agreements, presentations and assisting Head of People with data for investor due diligence as and when required
Requirements
- Agency and In-House experience is ideal
- Experience and passion for the Fintech industry
- Experience working in and recruiting for a remote-first organisation with distributed teams is preferred
- Experience in Global Recruiting specifically in APAC and US
- Previous experience using Greenhouse ATS is advantageous
- Previously managed at least one person
- Demonstratable experience in creating and maintaining best in class Employer Branding initiatives
- Has previously recruited in the fields of Marketing, Compliance, Finance and Legal
- UK and global employment law knowledge and contract law highly advantageous
