Wingate Hiring for Property Accountant (9103) Job at Remote Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and prepare monthly financial statements, including all supporting schedules
• Prepare audit work papers for properties in the assigned portfolio
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Prepare property cash analyses
• Assist in the bill paying process
• Perform various bank and general ledger account reconciliations
• Make tax and mortgage payments
• Prepare financial reporting for lender and third party recipients
• Review audited financial statements for accurate representation
• Serve as a resource and assist with preparation of portfolio annual budgets
• Special Projects as required by management

Skills:

• Thorough understanding of full-cycle accounting transactions
• Solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel required
• Experience with RealPage, Yardi or similar GL software program preferred
• Proven organization skills with ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Self-starter capable of finding solutions with minimal supervision

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a growing, dynamic and fast paced environment, with the ability to change priorities as needed

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Ability to communicate both verbally and through email with coworkers or outside contacts

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting preferred
