Windjammer Angelique Hiring for Mess Cook at Camden, Maine Full Time

Windjammer Angelique is looking for a mess cook to work with our chef and assistant chef from now through the end of our season in mid-October. Our homeport is Camden, ME.  This is not your everyday “job”.  Hours are long, but the rewards are an awesome work atmosphere, being part of a transformative experience for our guests, and perhaps a transformative experience for you.  Angelique offers 3, 4 & 6-night cruises along the beautiful Maine coast. Angelique can accommodate 29 guests and sails with a crew of 6 (3 on deck, 3 in the galley) plus the captain.

The right person must have good people and organizational skills, be a team player, like cleanliness and physical work. A sense of adventure is a must! Sailing experience is not necessary but a willingness to learn is! You will be a member of our crew and help sail and operate the vessel in addition to galley responsibilities, so there is an opportunity to learn about sailing a traditional-rigged vessel. This is a live-aboard position.  It’s a busy schedule, though there is some time off in between scheduled cruises.  We are presently accepting resumes and interviewing low-maintenance, drama-free candidates because we work too closely together for any of that malarkey.  Salary plus tips and room and board.
