Senior Software Engineer

WIMO Games is currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a passion for creating shared technology and tools to help bring exciting new VR games to a variety of platforms. First and foremost, you will be tasked with creating and supporting reusable systems and tools to support multiple VR platforms in the Unity game engine. You will be asked to collaborate with other members of the company, including artists, designers, engineers, product managers, and producers.

Responsibilities

• Create, test, debug, and maintain core systems and tools used across multiple VR projects
• Guide and evolve our shared code base to help us create high quality games more effectively
• Write and maintain documentation for core systems and tools
• Collaborate with team members from every department and project

Requirements

• Proficiency with C#, Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
• VR game development experience (Oculus, Steam, PlayStation VR/VR2)
• Professional experience creating multiplatform systems
• Passion for VR games and technology
• 5+ years of professional programming experience
• 3+ years of professional game development experience with Unity
• Good communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with other teams and departments to plan and deliver features on schedule
• Ability to work with a diverse and experienced team of developers in a creative and fast-paced environment
• Agile and/or Scrum development experience

Preferences

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• PS5 development experience
• Experience with Cloud development and infrastructure
• Experience with real-time and multi-threaded environments
• Prior shipped VR game titles
• Experience supporting live ops services
• 3D and mathematical background

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year
