Wilshire Health & Community Services Hiring for Scheduler – Healthcare at Paso Robles, CA Full Time

Under the direction and supervision of the Administrator, the Scheduler is responsible for coordinating schedules for Home Health patients, field clinicians, and facilitating communication between patients, field clinicians, and clinical supervisors.

Core Performance Requirements:

Must be able to multi-task and work as a team in a dynamic, fast paced and high energy environment.

Schedules field clinician for initial assignments based on geography, areas of expertise, and productivity standards.

Follows Home Health agency’s process for SOCs/Admits scheduled in 24 hours or per patient’s/family’s request.

Assures all subsequent discipline referrals are scheduled per Home Health agency policy.

Promptly and thoroughly responds to patients’, field clinicians’, and clinical supervisors’ questions or concerns regarding scheduling problems and policies.

Re-schedules all possible missed visits in conjunction with communication from field clinician and/or clinical supervisor.

Maintains scheduling program and ensures that it is updated daily, i.e., visits, employee skills, and emergency preparedness plan codes.

Demonstrates effective verbal and written communications skills, including an ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Knowledge of Home Health office procedures.

High School diploma or equivalent

Proficient with Microsoft Office products and other applicable office software solutions

Ability to retain pertinent information.
