Main Purpose of Role:
As a member of the People Shared Services team, you will be responsible for inputting into and supporting the People Plan for the Information and Data division of Wilmington plc.
You will be working closely with your People Partner as appropriate and supporting various people projects across the division and rest of organisation as required and empowering line managers in handling the full range of people queries and processes.
You will be a trusted advisor and an active part of the people team, attending relevant business meetings to engage with, better understand and advise on people business matters.
You will support with organisational design and development in anticipation of business requirements, including regularly reviewing the structure of the businesses and making suggestions for increased effectiveness.
You will assist with the execution of talent management initiatives e.g. retention planning, succession planning, performance, talent development planning etc. working closely with all leaders below MD level supporting them through these processes.
Working collaboratively as a member of the People Operations team you will deliver high quality service to customers, ensuring there is regular communication and exchanges of information.

Skills and Experience Required:

You will also need;
Experience working in Human Resources with some advisory experience and experience of handling a variety of People processes/issues
Knowledge of UK employment law, some knowledge of international employment law advantageous
Interacts with others in a sensitive and effective way using emotional intelligence. Respects and works well with others
Able to make systematic and rational judgements based on relevant information
A curiosity to know more and look beneath the surface of a situation to provide relevant options and risks
Resilient and maintains effective work behaviour in the face of setbacks or pressure. Remains calm, stable and in control of themselves
A strong customer service focus
Well organised, with ability to work to tight deadlines and excellent attention to detail
Ability to problem solve and use own initiative
A team player
Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
