The role is mill based and will suit someone who is self-motivated and doesn’t need close supervision. Previous related experience is desirable, but not essential because we will provide training for a person who displays the right aptitude and team fit.

Primary responsibilities:

The role will provide opportunities to be involved in the whole range of HR activities – basically anything to do with the people-side of the business – however, the primary focus will be on recruitment (and recruitment associated activities) for the factory and cane supply mill and administration of the weekly Kronos time card system.

Specific Requirements:

It would be ideal if we could find someone with exactly the level of previous experience or qualifications to make a success of this role, however the following qualities are more important to us:

• A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a whole range of people
• A true team player who understands the value of teamwork and doesn’t need to be asked to contribute
• Excellent attention to detail – this one is critical with time cards and employment contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• The ability to proactively focus on stakeholders
• Someone who takes personal responsibility and accountability seriously
