The sweet things you’ll be involved in:

Sugar Australia has a fixed contract opportunity for a Finance Business Partner who has stakeholder management experience and strong problem solving skills to join our Finance team reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.

You will be responsible for providing accurate financial analysis, support process improvement and relevant reporting for our Wilmar Ingredients, Supply Chain Planning and Logistics teams.

Gain valuable experience working with an iconic and reputable Australian Food Manufacturer on a 6 month fixed term basis, located at our Sugar Australia Head Office in Yarraville.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Partner the Wilmar Ingredients, Supply Chain and Logistics teams to provide financial insights and ensure accuracy of results
• Monthly reporting, including EOM results, forecasting and budgeting, partner to the Wilmar Ingredients, Supply Chain and Logistics teams.
• Be the key point of contact within the finance team for discussion around new product development and work closely with the Operations Accountant on Product Costing
• FP&A team analytics support, project analytics and process improvement finance partner.
• Drive process improvement within the finance team to ensure maximum benefit is extracted from the use of SAP
• Ensuring key internal controls are operating effectively on an ongoing basis
• Assist with maintenance of systems to support monthly reporting, forecasts, and budget planning process.
• Assist in coordinating the Annual Stocktake
• Stock and Spares management (slow moving stock provision, review of negative inventory)

What we’re wanting you to bring to the table:

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or Business
• Either CA or CPA accredited
• 5 years’ experience with SAP, in a business partnering role
• Ideally experience in an FMCG, Manufacturing or Operational environment
• Advanced Microsoft Software (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Exposure to COPA is highly desirable
• We are seeking a collaborative, pro-active individual who is driven to achieve results.
• Will have demonstrated experience providing a high level of customer service and strong problem solving skills.
• Will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong attention to detail.
