Willoughby Farms Hiring for Accountant/Scalehouse Management Job at Gordon, AL Full Time

Hiring Accountant to track crop shipments, manage AR and AP, payroll processing, BOL creations, and create financial statements. The function of the position will be to handle daily financial needs while tracking sales and costs, and organizing this data in a meaningful form so that Management can stream-line its decision-making process. Specific areas of responsibility and associated tasks are as follows:

Bookkeeping Responsibilities:

– Weekly bill payment and submission for Management’s review.

– Invoice creations, processing, and statement tracking.

– Freight cost reconcilement and allocation.

– Weekly payroll; monthly and quarterly payroll taxes reporting.

– Must have experience in AR / AP and ledger

Scale House Operations:

– Weigh semi-tractor trucks and trailers in and out using manual farm scales.

– BOL creation and submittal based on properly attained weights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
