About the role
The Early Childhood Educator – Certificate III role supports our Devonshire Street Children’s Centre located in Chatswood which provides Long Day Care for approx. 60 children aged 6 weeks – 5 years.
You’ll need a broad set of skills and an eagerness to learn. As a customer-facing team member, you’ll respect the diversity of our community and be committed to leaving things better than you found them. This role will see you developing strong, positive relationships with the children and families that attend our centre. You will assist our team to ensure the needs of the families are met and contribute to the planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate educational program to promote and develop the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of the children.
You must be over 18 + years of age, hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA and also hold a Working with Children Check. You will also have experience working in an education and care setting with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and have an understanding of the developmental stages of early childhood and relevant frameworks that support education and care services.
