Onsite requirement: 2-3 days/week in Framingham, MA

Our innovative and engineering intensive household name client is seeking a new Head of Talent. This person will lead a team of 10+ Talent professionals seeking to build upon an inclusive talent-focused culture where all employees can thrive. In this role, you will have the opportunity to reimagine and modernize their recruiting function as needed to enable them to meet its transformation and growth aspirations. You will serve as a member of the Senior HR Leadership team reporting directly to the Chief People Officer. You will have the opportunity to integrate your knowledge of innovative, proven talent acquisition tools, technologies, and best practices for attracting dynamic and diverse talent.

Responsibilities

Strategic Support of Business and Talent Strategy

• Partner closely with Chief People Officer, Senior Leaders, and HR partners to develop an enterprise-wide talent acquisition approach that enables them to transform their capabilities and achieve their growth goals
• Consult and influence senior leaders, hiring managers, and other HR partners to develop a strategic hiring plan to support their individual business strategies and capability needs
• Act as an advisor to stakeholders on market trends, recruiting metrics, operational processes, systems, tools and programs. Regularly present market trends and Talent Acquisition health updates at Exec meetings
• Ensure Talent Acquisition team continues to provide strategic partnership and has strong relationships and alignment with all stakeholders including business line leaders, hiring managers, HR Business Partners and HR COE (Total Rewards, Talent, HR Information Systems, etc)
• Champion best in class expectations and investment in the performance and development of the entire Talent Acquisition team

Building TA Capability and Operational Excellence

• Assess current processes, tools and technologies, to ensure they are appropriate and scalable to support the strategic business needs including ensuring appropriate dashboards and metrics are available readily used to inform decision making
• Ensure that TA has the right tools to drive the full recruitment lifecycle: execute sourcing strategies, manage the interview process, facilitate debrief discussions, conduct reference checks, and negotiate offers.
• Ensure team is performing strategic sourcing and research activities, including monitoring activities in the sector to identify and build talent pipelines
• Establish a strategy to build and maintain relationships with a variety of external organizations which are critical for:

• Ensuring continuous learning and benchmarking of industry best practices and trends (e.g., vendors, research firms, data providers)
• Reaching a diverse set of talent pools in support of our Diversity Equity Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B)strategy and their commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace (e.g., community organizations or universities whose mission aligns with our DEI&B strategy)
• Participating in on-campus recruiting activities and events in support of their early career Rotational program and internship programs (e.g., colleges and universities or educational programs whose students’ skills align with talent strategies)

• Hold team accountable to achieving Service Level Agreements & with a relentless focus on dashboard and metrics
• Develop methods to better forecast hiring needs and identify recruiting metrics to measure effectiveness.

Attract and Hire the best, Diverse Talent

• Partner with the Marketing and Internal Communications teams to develop Employment Branding and integrate this into creative recruiting campaigns leveraging Social Media and other platforms to reach a diverse audience. Seek opportunities to introduce and promote their brand.
• Create and drive innovative recruitment methods to build a continuous pipeline to reach passive job seekers and to source difficult to fill positions.
• Personally support talent acquisition activities for executive level searches and selected key roles, including managing relationships with other 3rd party recruitment firms as appropriate
• Ensure candidate experience exceeds expectations throughout the entire lifecycle of the process

Qualifications

· Extensive experience in talent acquisition including deploying talent acquisition strategies enterprise wide; experience in technology and/or recruiting agency a plus

· Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems required

· Experience in development full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding

· Experience in sourcing and hiring roles jobs at all levels.

· Demonstrated data-driven decision making; leveraging analytics to inform strategy

· Prior experience and involvement working on DEI&B initiatives

· Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition changes (e.g., employer branding, internship, reporting and analytics changes)

· Proven track record for identifying and securing top talent

· Demonstrated strategic thinking skills; ability to translate strategy into practical actions

· Ability to influence without direct authority and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment.

· Demonstrated ability and passion for innovation, openness to external ideas and knowledge of talent best practices.

· Ability to remain flexible and resilient in a fast-paced, everchanging environment.

Compensation

· $250-285k plus STI plus LTI

· Onsite Requirement: 2-3 days/week in Framingham, MA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250,000.00 – $285,000.00 per year
