Williamstown Community Preschool Hiring for Part-time Bookkeeper Job at Williamstown, MA Full Time

Williamstown Community Preschool is looking for a part-time bookkeeper who possesses the ability to perform all duties involved in the financial needs of a busy preschool. General human resource knowledge and responsibilities are required with this position. The position involves approximately 10 -15 hour per week on average and salary is commensurate with experience.

Overview of Responsibilities:

· Monthly Parent Invoicing

· Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable

· Monthly Bank Reconciliations

· Recording Payroll with Paychex and Quickbooks

· 1099 preparation

· Prepare Financial Reports for monthly Board of Directors meetings

· Budgeting and Forecasting

· Assist CPA with annual audit

· Health Insurance renewals/new applicants

· General liability/worker’s comp policy renewals

Applicant Qualification:

· Familiarity with Quickbooks and general accounting procedures

· Proficiency in Word, Excel and Google Drive

· Experience in the non-profit sector preferred

· Knowledge in the insurance field preferred

· Must be friendly, and work cooperatively with others
