William and Jennifer Rapson is Looking for Swine Herdsperson Full Time

We are located near Brussels Ont. and have one vacancy for a swine herdsperson on our sow farm. The starting rate of pay would be $24.00 per hour. Possibly more with sow experience. This is a permanent full time position with 40-45 hours per week. We would like to start someone as soon as possible. The position is a day time position with working every other weekend being required. Mechanical abilities would be an asset.
The job requirements are; English language abilities
must have own transportation
must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
the position is physically demanding
requires attention to detail
there is a large work load and overtime is required
a team player who is organized
the ability to perform general farm duties such as artificial insemination, castration, feeding, cross-fostering,weaning, moving sows, pressure washing, some repairs
