Willamette Christian School Hiring for School Administrator Job at Eugene, OR Full Time

City First Christian Academy is hiring a school administrator. Candidate must have teaching certification and be willing to obtain ACSI certification.

We are looking for a school administrator/principal that will provide leadership, management and supervisory skills that promote learning for each student. They are stewards for learning-student learning, staff learning and parent learning. They provide clear vision, inspiration, energy and insight for all stakeholders in an enlightening and high functioning school community. An administrator will have a set of beliefs and a skill set that guides the school in day to day operations to ensure health, safety, and welfare of all students, staff and families. The administrator orchestrates a complex, dynamic, and collaborative learning community each and every day where students and student learning are always the central focus.

Job Description:

The following job descriptions are included in the position.

· Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy throughout curriculum and activities.

· Teach classes as needed, following prescribed scope and sequence as scheduled.

· Ensures vision and mission-driven school decisions.

· Confronts low-performing staff members and students with a kind heart but a firm mind.

· Conducts crucial conversations based on student performance data for purpose of enhancing student learning.

· Plan a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs and abilities of the students, challenging each to do his/her best work.

· Utilize valid teaching techniques to achieve curriculum goals with the school’s philosophy.

General Performance:

· Perform all duties with a courteous mindset that fits the school’s culture and mission.

· Keep proper discipline on the school premises for a good learning environment.

· Develops, implements, and monitors outcomes of school improvement plan and student achievement data to improve student learning.

· Collaborates with staff to achieve school improvement plan targets.

· Utilizes current technologies to support leadership and management functions.

· Align resources to improve teaching and learning.

· Seek counsel from peers and school board while maintaining a teachable attitude.

· Cooperate with school board in implementing all policies, procedures, and directives governing the school.

· Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems with the classroom and the school setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Candidate must hold an eligible teaching license.

· Effective oral and written communication skills.

· Experience required.

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually WCS/CFCA parent organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
