Wileman Bros & Elliott, Inc is a grower, packer and shipper focusing in the citrus of all commodities from navels to lemons. We are running our packing shed from November to September with a small downtime in October; however, the office stays open and busy year-round. As we have multiple entities within Wileman Bros & Elliott, Inc and there are always things to do.

Job Description:

We are currently accepting resumes for an Accounting/Admin Assistant to join our team in Cutler, CA.

We are looking for an individual that is dependable, self-motivated, organized and ready to be part of a team.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide assistant to the Controller’s day-to-day tasks and offer other general administrative duties.
• Answering phones, handling inquiries and passing on calls or detailed messages to other staff.
• Maintain a variety of sensitive, electronic and physical files.
• Other duties and special projects as required.
• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, etc.
• Work with word processing, spread sheet, and database software to complete administrative tasks.
• Provide support to the Accounting Department which includes: issuing purchase orders, matching purchase orders and receiving papers to proper invoices, entering invoices and weekly check runs when needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with Excel and Famous is a must.
• 3-4 years of accounting and/or grower accounting experience
• Ability to manage large amounts of data
• Excellent attention to detail is a must
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
• Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• 10 key by touch and typing skills required
• Detail oriented, organized, and reliable work habits.

Education:

• High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $20.00 per hour
