Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Digital Marketing Associate with a focus on Ecommerce Product Management to join our team here at Wiedmann Bros Distributing. We are a distribution company located in Alpharetta, GA and provide aftermarket accessory solutions to dealers across the US and Canada utilizing our eCommerce channels. As a Digital Marketing Associate, you will be primarily responsible for managing our ecommerce product catalog and assisting with planning and executing email marketing campaigns. This role requires a combination of strong product management skills and proficiency in digital marketing strategies. You will be collaborating and working alongside out existing marketing lead.
Responsibilities:
Ecommerce Product Management:
- Manage and maintain our ecommerce product catalog, including adding new products, updating existing ones, and ensuring accurate and complete product information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather accurate product information, images, and related assets.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain data quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Optimize product titles, descriptions, images, and metadata for improved search engine visibility.
- Monitor ecommerce trends and competitor listings to recommend improvements for product presentation and listing optimization.
- Assist in resolving product-related issues and provide support for product taxonomy updates.
Digital Marketing:
- Assist in planning and executing email marketing campaigns, including content creation, segmentation, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop effective email marketing strategies that align with business goals.
- Analyze email marketing metrics to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.
- Support other digital marketing initiatives as needed, such as social media content management or website content updates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ecommerce product management or digital marketing, or a combination of both.
- Proficiency in using FileZilla for FTP server management: The candidate should have hands-on experience in using FileZilla to access FTP servers. This includes the ability to upload, delete, and manage files and images, ensuring the smooth operation of our e-commerce website.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing ecommerce product catalogs.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or similar tools.
- Familiarity with content creation and digital marketing strategies.
- Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles as they apply to product listings.
- Advanced SEO experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of photoshop or photo editing software preferred
- Experience with Illustrator and InDesign is a plus!
